I won't be late for dinner
I won't be late for dinner is Laure-Anne Herpoel’s ongoing photographic project, first presented in January 2026. The title functions both as a personal promise and as a symbolic statement about time, rituals, and togetherness. Driven by a deep-rooted need to preserve memories, and by a sense of gratitude for what is, Laure-Anne documents intimate moments with her family and close surroundings. This series marks the beginning of a continuing inquiry into how images, once captured, slowly change in meaning. Laure-Anne explores how our perception of events evolves over time, and how the emotional resonance of memories shifts along with it. Her work emphasizes the power of the archive and the necessity of that anchor—an idealized memory—as a source of support and comfort.
